On 15th August 2023, Glotrans celebrated 14 years of company’s establishment. The number of 14 years reminds us a lot of memories of an arduous and difficult journey to start a new phase, promising new breakthroughs. Although 14 years of steady progress is not long, it is still a challenging period. The journey recognized the launch, development and affirmation of Glotrans’s reputation in logistics field.
This is an occasion for Glotrans to send our gratitude to customers and partners who always accompany and give support to us during the development of last 14 years. Meanwhile, this is an opportunity for Glotrans to send our most sincere appreciation to employees, who has been contributing and dedicating to business. This devotion will always be remembered and appreciated.
In the coming time, Glotrans will continue to pursue the planned mission and strategies. Glotrans’s employees are always making constant efforts to improve, and not hesitate to innovate in management methods, business plans, and expand the global dealer and partner system. Company T (Plaintiff – the Insured) entered into an insurance contract with Company B (Defendant – the Insurer). After the insured event occurred, the Insurer alleged that the Insured had violated its obligation to prevent and mitigate losses. The Arbitral Tribunal acknowledged that such an obligation exists but concluded that the Insured did not breach it.
Under the insurance contract, the premium was to be paid in three installments, and in all three, the insured party was late in payment. When a dispute arose, the insurer (Defendant) argued that the insurance contract had terminated before the insured event occurred due to the late premium payment and therefore refused to make an insurance payout. However, the Arbitral Tribunal held a contrary view.
