Glotrans participated in the Vietnam Logistics Forum 2023 with the theme Logistics and Digital Transformation for the Mekong Delta

The Mekong Delta is a strategically important region in terms of politics, economics, socio-culture, culture, national defense and security, and foreign affairs of the country. It was also one of the six key economic regions, contributing about 50% of rice output, 95% of rice exports, 65% of aquaculture production, and 70% of all types of fruits nationwide. The potential and demand for logistics services were significant, but the current infrastructure and capacity of the logistics service industry in the region still faced limitations, not contributing much to the economic and social development of the area.

Based on the need to enhance the role of logistics in the economic development of the region, on December 2nd, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in coordination with the People's Committee of Can Tho City, organized the Vietnam Logistics Forum 2023 with the theme "Logistics and Digital Transformation for the Mekong Delta."

During the forum, delegates expressed the view that digital transformation in logistics helped reduce logistics costs, improve service quality and customer experience, enhance internal organization cohesion, and connectivity within the supply chain. This, in turn, improved efficiency and enhanced the competitiveness of businesses, the logistics service industry, and the entire economy in general.

This was an opportunity for GLOTRANS to meet, exchange, and learn more about the Mekong Delta market, thereby identifying customer needs and creating value for the development of the Logistics industry in the Southwest region. It positioned the GLOTRANS brand widely across the country, accompanying the "Digital Transformation" campaign in the Vietnamese Logistics industry.

Insurance Contracts Do Not Automatically Terminate Due to Late Premium Payment

Under the insurance contract, the premium was to be paid in three installments, and in all three, the insured party was late in payment. However, the Arbitral Tribunal held a contrary view.
