GLOTRANS IS GRANTED A ROAD PERMIT ACCORDING TO THE REGULATIONS OF THE CITY PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE

Ho Chi Minh City, ensuring shipments are not interrupted during the isolation period.
On August 24, the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City sent an official dispatch to the People's Committee of Thu Duc City and districts on the assignment of issuing road permits to manufacturing enterprises from August 23 to September 6 in Ho Chi Minh City.

Accordingly, implementing Official Letter No. 2800/UBND-VX dated August 21, 2021 of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City on adjusting and supplementing a number of contents to strengthen control of groups of subjects allowed to circulate during the implementation period. Social distancing, in Section 12 of the attached Appendix, assigns the People's Committee of Thu Duc City and districts to issue travel permits to subjects, including "employees in industries serving production".

According to the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City, currently, manufacturing enterprises that both supply domestic goods and directly import and export need a travel permit for some employees to perform important tasks such as: signed contracts, personnel repairing and maintaining machinery and equipment, staff carrying out procedures for issuance of certificates of origin; documents and documents for specialized inspection of import and export goods, supporting documents, transport documents, customs documents... These are the subjects of the group of "workers in service industries" mentioned in Section 1. 12 Appendix attached to Official Letter No. 2800.

In order to support businesses to maintain production, especially those manufacturing in the "3 on the spot" or "1 road, 2 destinations" mode, contributing to restricting movement, ensuring safety and preventing epidemics, the Department of Industry and Trade proposed the People's Committee of Thu Duc and the districts to consider issuing travel permits to employees of production enterprises, including commercial enterprises specializing in supplying raw materials and auxiliary materials for production locality.

The Department of Industry and Trade only issues travel permits to employees of enterprises specializing in providing import and export services, ie businesses providing professional logistics services.

As soon as it received instructions from the Department of Industry and Trade, with the support of the Vietnam Logistics Association (VLA), Glotrans quickly completed the procedures for registration of a road permit issued by the City Police. On the afternoon of August 24, 2021, Glotrans received a road trip permit issued by the City Police to two comrades Do Van Truc and Nguyen Dat Thinh to always ensure work at ports, airports and other agencies other related issues during the City period. Ho Chi Minh City implements Directive 16+. And especially, Glotrans implemented response measures according to the motto "3 on the spot", "1 road, 2 destinations" by arranging 03 officers: Phan Duc Tan, Do Van Truc, Nguyen Dat Thinh on duty 24/24. 24 at enterprises, implementing "dual goals" while complying with the state's regulations on anti-epidemic measures and ensuring business and production activities of enterprises.
